Software Engineering Manager at Ericsson in Athlone, Ireland, managing teams in our commercial O&M rApp Development which work with Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform (EIAP). Before that, I was managing EIAP Developer Portal and open source rApps. Before that again, JEE Platform, User Interface SDK and 5G Topology teams in Ericsson Network Manager.

I originally graduated with a first class honours degree in computer science at

This site is made with Hugo static website generator (using PaperMod theme), posted to Github and built with GitHub Actions, which deploys the result to FastMail. SSL is freely provided by LetsEncrypt.

I author the site (usually) in NeoVim or online in Github, using Markdown for posts and HTML/CSS/Javascript for anything else.

AWS Lambda Web Scraper with Slack Notifications

A function on Amazon Web Services Lambda platform to scrape useful information from a website and post the results to Slack. Can be used to get a restaurant menu, bus times, sports scores or anything you can think of in to Slack!

Editor + Terminal

For Editor I use Neovim and VS Code.

For shell I use ZSH with Starship installed. For terminal I use Ghostty.

For AI CLI tools, I use Codex, Kiro and Claude.

Desktop Apps

For web browser - I usually use Firefox.

For RSS reader I use the excellent Reeder (mac/iOS).

For work, I use Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word - I never use these on a personal machine (I use Apple iWork suite on rare occasion).
